An opera singer in a former life, Natalie Wilson first stepped behind the pen in 2009. She has gone on to write numerous short plays, full-length plays, and a book for a new musical, Sweethearts of Swing, which was a 2014 Eugene O’Neill NMTC semi-finalist and has had staged readings produced by the Aurora Fox Arts Center in Colorado and at the Triad Theater in NYC. Her full-length play The Innkeeper was featured in the “Soap Gets in Your Eyes” Festival of New Plays in NYC in 2015, and Breaking Pairs was presented in a reading at the Dramatist Guild in 2010. Natalie has four short works published by Indie Theater Now, and she is the cofounder of Lather, Rinse, Repeat: A Playwrights’ Collective. In summer of 2015, she enjoyed traveling to Montreal on her motorcycle for a workshop of her short play, In Transit. Natalie and her composer partner Kat are now working with the Lark Play Development Center on their musical Sweethearts of Swing.
